We called U.S. from Costa Rica resort, where the in room card by the phone said to place your own call and pay just $2.00/min for first 3 minutes, then $3.00/min thereafter. We checked with the front desk and they said, yes those would be charges. Then I got a phone bill from "International Satellite Communications" of $43.92 for each 5 min. call made. Nowhere on the place card did it say that additional charges would apply. I called Customer Service who would do nothing for me until I asked for a manager. The manager gave me a "one-time" credit of $35.13 because I never used thier service before, and said I should have made the call using the front desk at the resort, information completely opposite from what we were told BY the resort. What a rip off! Don't make overseas calls using this company.
